Spinal adjustments, or spinal manipulations, are the backbone of any quality chiropractic service. Spinal adjustments are a skilled manipulation that provides mobility to the spinal joints.
Chiropractic adjustments can reduce chronic pain and alleviate tension on the nervous system.

Dr. Shea Stark was born in Conroe, Texas. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 13 where she discovered her passion for volleyball. She played year-round through high school and was awarded a full athletic volleyball scholarship to Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ before being recruited to play at a Division I university in Greensboro, NC called North Carolina A&T State University. There, she received full athletic scholarships in both volleyball and bowling. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2007. It was in Greensboro, NC where Dr. Stark found her love for Chiropractic. Having decided to forego medical school, Dr. Stark started researching other health care opportunities. She found a local sports chiropractor to shadow and after the first day, she was hooked!

Dr. Stark returned home to Houston, Texas to attend Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) where she became very involved, and held leadership roles, in multiple organizations including the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA), SACA Sports Council, Student Body Association (SBA) and the ACA Sports Council Student Executive Council. Dr. Stark graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in December 2014.

After graduating from TCC, Dr. Stark spent the first six years of her career at Pro Chiropractic in Bozeman, MT. She has since returned to Houston and opened Stark Chiropractic & Sports in July 2020.

She has expanded her training significantly in her short career and is certified in the following: - CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner) - ICSC (International Certified Sports Chiropractor) - EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) - GTS (Graston Technique Specialist) - FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab) - RockTape (FMT 1 and FMT 2) - FTMI (Functional Taping for Musculoskeletal Injuries) - SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) - Dry Needling Therapy - Dynamic Tape

Dr. Stark loves to work with athletes and has had the privilege of traveling around the country to do so including: - AVP Beach Volleyball - FIVB Beach Volleyball presented by P1440 - National High School and Collegiate Tae Kwondo Championships - RodeoHouston Sports Medicine Committee

In her spare time, Dr. Stark enjoys spending time with family, friends and her Great Dane mix, Zeus. She also coaches club volleyball for Willowbrook Volleyball in Houston, TX.
